Linksys WVC54GCA take apart
IP camera, the LED won't lights up. it turns off or won't power on at all.I tried to take it apart to see what's going on. The LEDs are lights up for a few seconds but then they turn off. There are 3-4 LEDs insinde. 1 main blue LED and 2 or 3 green LEDs.
I took some picture to see what's inside. Do this only if you have no warranty on your cam.
To took Linksys WVC54GCA apart is pretty easy. You need a screw driver or similar tool to open the camera's housing.
The black and red wire is for the microphone. The WLAN module is in a mini PCI slot.
I will try to repair this WVC54GCA camera and will publish the result later. I think the problem caused by a faulty circuit or capacitor, the adapter seems to be OK.
update: Camera working again. I had to replace the power adapter.

The LEDs are marked on the main board as LD1 as the BLUE main LED next to the camera lens, and LD2 (I have no physical LED2 on the board) and LD3 and LD4 are the green LED (maybe for diagnostic LEDs)
