Unitech PT930S hard reset

Before you buy a new cell phone or new tablet, please try the following procedure to repair your device. It is impossible to recover your data after doing a hard reset, so online backup is always important. For all of your data, a backup should be done on an external device, hard drive, raid system or media.

WARNING: Warm Boot will cause unsaved data to be lost.
To perform a warm boot while the PT930 is operating, insert a pin (paper clip works well) into the reset hole on the back of the terminal, right on top of the Extension Memory compartment
or
Under the Windows folder of your terminal, locate the file BootMode.exe, execute the program, and confirm the warning message.

Cold Boot
While the terminal is ON, press and hold the “BS” key, and either press the reset button or run Bootmode.exe just like performing a “Warm Boot”. After the LCD display has turned OFF and back ON, release the “BS” key.
NOTE: Cold Boot will cause the PT930 to return to its original factory settings.
